Letter of President

Dear members and friends of Baalback Cultural Council, 

   I am honored to be the president of what I deeply believe is one of the most successful cultural councils in Baalback and Lebanon. And here, I would like to put it as loud and honest as possible that this success is attributed, beyond any doubt, to the dedication, professionalism, and determination of every one of you.

    Dear friends, many ask you and ask me, “Why do you do this?” And, spontaneously, we all share the same answer that comes from the heart of everyone of us, from the soul of every member and friend, from every step we make and every effort we do; “We all do so because we love Baalback, we belong to Baalback and we see Baalback with our loving hearts and caring minds, in addition to our responsible and thoughtful efforts. We do not only aspire for a better tomorrow for Baalback, but, above all, we are all ready to walk the extra mile to realize Baalback Cultural Council’s vision and mission, which is as, we all agreed on, a deep belief and a sincere ultimate pursuit that Baalback Cultural Council is but “a humanitarian incubator” in all means”.

    This challenge is not only within reach but also in the process of coming true through the various and creative events and projects that we offer each year with the clear vision and mission, as well as the strategic plan, which you all contributed honorably in setting and that we, the administrative board, are proud to be putting into implementation.

   In the last few years, we have made giant steps regardless of all the obstacles that our country is passing through. All of this is because we believe that Baalback Cultural Council is an oasis in the region, with our full respect to other active organizations, which has offered a unique opportunity for all members of the society in Baalback and the region to share a lot of common educational and social interests that simulate the deep-rooted legacy of Baalback, the city that is incomparable to any other city in the world. 

​Finally, I would like to say that the history of Baalback is but a magnificent book with a lot of richly bright pages through history along with a lot of blank pages to come that we are all responsible to write with glory that Baalback deserves.
